Was it the mother or the daughter? Learn whose vision inspired Real Talk with Deb and Nia, and the duo’s “dream” journey from fledgling idea to podcast reality. The mother/daughter team also welcomes Art Therapist & Vision Coach Toren Turner to discuss the power of vision boards and how virtually everyone can benefit from creating one.
(Toren on what dreams and visions are and the need for a process.)
In the Episode 2, we explore vision boards and drip a little “tea” about how Real Talk went from vision to reality!
Vision boards are visual, tangible representations of one’s desires and dreams. Studies have shown that vision boards have been instrumental in helping people achieve goals. In fact, we’ve done multiple boards. Real Talk with Deb & Nia was actually only a thought in our minds and a vision on a board at one time!
Visions can be small, short-term goals, like improving grades, losing weight or getting a new job. Or, they can be bigger, long-term goals, like: buying the $1.4M mansion. Whatever the dream, it’s unique to you and nothing is off limits.
Today’s “tea” guest is our colleague and dear friend Toren Turner. She is the founder and owner of InVision Beyond, as well as a clinical art therapist. She is spilling the tea on the purpose, benefits, and power of creating a vision board.
We’re excited to share an overview of the process that has allowed us to creatively keep our dreams before us as we move through the period before they are made manifest in our lives.
IN TODAY’S CONVERSATION YOU’LL HEAR A POWERFUL PERSPECTIVE ON:
We’re dreaming of you listening in!
